Indonesia Inspired
Indonesia Inspired was a month-long series of events showcasing contemporary Indonesia through cuisine, design, film and fashion. The events were held in collaboration with Asia House London, a non-political body dedicated to promoting understanding between the peoples of the United Kingdom and Asia, and supported by The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia and sponsor corporations.

The Idea for Indonesia Inspired follows Kestity’s observation, after relocating to London, of an under-represented and out-of-date social profile of Indonesia in the United Kingdom. Its development and execution was through a collaboration with Asia House, under the Connecting Cultures programs, managed by then Asia House’s Program Director, Betty Yao.
​
Indonesia Inspired drew broad interest from a cross section of British society and media and served the purpose of bringing an up-to-date impression of Indonesia to the audiences attending the events.
