Discovering Indonesia was a month-long series of events showcasing Batik, Indonesia’ centuries old tradition of cloth making, Indonesian cuisine and film. The events were hosted in collaboration with Korea Foundation Cultural Centre and Lotte Hotel.
The month-long Batik exhibition drew over a large number of visitors to view over 100 special Batik pieces exhibited for the first time in Korea. The exhibition was curated by Mr. Airlangga Komara of BINHouse.
A workshop was also held at Ewha Womans University on the technique of Batik design and production.
